Switching off the light with Earth Hour and Jianguo Hotel Beijing
自2009年起,北京建国饭店已连续三年参加地球一小时活动。地球一小时活动发展至今，已经成为一个具有全球影响力的环保行动，它使社会民众了解到气候变化所带来的威胁，并让大家意识到个人及企业的一个小小动作将会给他们所居住的环境带来怎样深刻的影响--小小改变就可能成就巨大影响。
2011 年 3 月 26 日晚上 8:30-9:30，北京建国饭店将再次参与其中，届时，我们将关闭酒店外观装饰灯，并将调暗室内光线。我们真诚邀请您加入我们的行列，适当关闭或调暗您房间的灯光，熄灯是一种信号，它代表着我们对保护地球的信仰，和参与改变的愿望。然而，除了熄灯，我们还能做些什么？2011年地球一小时，让我们用行动超越一小时。让我们一起来爱护我们的地球！
Jianguo Hotel has been involved in Earth hour since 2009, to make people aware of social threats posed by climate change. Every year Earth Hour asks individuals, businesses and communities worldwide to show their commitment to the environment. Our actions can add up.
In 2011, Earth Hour is being taken to the next level. From 8:30pm on March 26, 2011, our hotel will switch off the outdoor light and turn down the indoor light for one hour. Please join us, turn down the light in your room, lights will switch off around the globe for Earth Hour and people will commit to actions that go beyond the hour.
